Dhanwate National College was established by the like-minded and spirited citizens in Nagpur in the year 1942. The college is set up and functioning towards achieving its mission of imparting quality education to the underprivileged sections of the society to make them more capable and competent citizens.
This college offers different courses at both UG and PG level. It also offers PhD programs in varying specializations. The academic programs offered by the college at the UG level are, B.A., B.C.C.A., B.Com, B.B.A. The PG level courses consist of M.A., M.C.M., M.Com, M.B.A., P.G.D.C.C.A and also PhD. *Note: The degree of MBA is offered in 32 courses along with a total 11 specializations. The college also follows a reservation policy for SC/ST/PWD sections in accordance with the regulations laid down by the government.
DNC Nagpur Admissions
Admissions to BA, B.Com, BBA, BJMC, M.Com, MA, MCM and MAM are merit based.
MBA admissions are provided based on combined marks of students i.e. CAT score and academics.

There is no other mass communication college available in Nagpur. so this was the only option I had. The admission process is quite easy and smooth the eligibility required for graduation is 12th pass out from any field. Overall admission process was quick and easy.

There are both merits list and spot admission options are available. Students must have above Fifty percentages in HSC. Students can take admission through CET and other entrance exams. BBA are of three year in which six semester happens of moderate difficulty.

Since there was only 1 college available for Journalism in Nagpur, I directly applied for the same college & I got spot admission considering my percentage. Since I was late for the admission I did not fill the centralized admission form rather directly went to the college & authorities approved my admission. And as I belong to OBC category, I did get admission in same quota.

This college was my first preference solely because it was close to my house.I had not availed of any quota. The admission criteria were atleast 55% marks in 10th. Application forms alongwith supporting documents were required to be submitted. Overall it was a smooth process
