Good part is the faculties and facilities Only weak part is the research culture is new in the uni

Symbiosis has a pre PhD coursework which is mainly managed by concerned faculties. But it is enriching the knowledge by guest and symbiosis faculties. But about this my knowledge is limited as I am doing research under health sciences and other faculties conduct seperate coursework. Research culture in Symbiosis is quite new. I am not very confident to comment on this aspect. Some of the faculties like public health students like me as beginners in Symbi but there is no such struggle we are facing though.

Many art fests, sport fests and cultural fests almost one per month by various institutes in the Uni Also many national conferences are conducted or hosted by uni. Nature club and related activities are good learning experience. Other national celebrations like divali, republic day are memorable events

Fee for PhD programe is 15000 per semester. During admission 15000 etc should be paid for initial coursework.Can pay throgh bank transfer, UPI, DD etc. Compared to other private universities in the country fee is considerably affordable concerning for a well reputed Uni like Symbi

Many PhD fellows if opt for full time research will get stipend of 25000/month. But not all of them research center will give a list of students who are awarded for JRF stipend every year.

Such an excellent culture in the university which is giving flexible learning experience. Many events like conferences, research meetings which are conducted in a regular basis. No such thing called gender based distinction felt in symbi in my experience.

No hostel facilities are good but costly in symbiosis. Most if the time accommodation are not available in hostels due to large number of students and limited rooms. But hostels are placed inside or very close to campus and quite good.

Not much to comment as PhD is a relatively new addition in the university. It takes some time to make the alumni to create an impact.

Symbiosis conduct an international admission test for PhD admission. Notification will be declared during the month of Aril-May. Admission test follows a personal interview before preparing the admission list. Some categories line NET qualified, M Phil, DST etc are exempted from admission test but to attend PI directly. Fee is normally 15K per semester

About PhD or research courses university is giving keen attention towards everything. Most guides have only very few number of students. It is also important to tell that the guides are very much supporting the research students during the process. During initial periods it is hard to thrive in research courses but I felt it is quite an enjoying experience in Symbi due to the support from Uni and faculties.
