Remarks

Being a Central University, Jamia Millia has a diverse atmosphere. We can find different quality and culture of students making a constructive atmosphere, which is very crucial to living. Such an atmosphere provides better opportunities for growth and development of an individual.

Course Curriculum Overview

Jamia has a good number of skilled faculty. We have many experienced professors who have a good qualification background. The course curriculum is also very satisfactory, but still, some of them lack to get the concepts clear to students and few faculty just doesn't work enough to teach the students. They are leisure, and they easily pass the students.

Course Fees: INR 43400 per year

Placement Experience

Around 70% of the students in my batch got placed on the campus. Several companies visited the campus including L&T, Supergas, Hero, Blue Star, TCS, Wipro, L&T Construction, Saint Gobain, Cummins, and Siemens. The average salary package was 4.2 LPA. I got placed in Supergas with the salary package 5 LPA. The students also co-ordinate several placement activities.

College Events

Regular cultural events are organised. Jamia foundation day celebrations and many fests are conducted. Campus crowd is good. You can meet people from different states, countries, religion etc. Different workshops and competitions are there to participate. They have department teams for football, cricket, basketball etc.

Campus Life

I think JMI has the best infrastructure with the needy facilities and in terms of cleaning and maintenance, they are doing good and maintaining all things very well. Classrooms have projectors through which teachers can teach, the hostel is also maintained. We have a very big sports complex.

DTU FROM A FRESHER'S PERSPECTIVE

Placement Experience:

DTU has one of the best placements records among engineering colleges.Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.Top companies like google microsoft ,qualcomm,airtel visit the college every year with many offers.the highedt package often go above 1 cr for cs/it while the average package around all other branches stay around 12-15 lakhs

DTU is a Nice Place

Placement Experience:

The placements of the college is its strong point. A lot of the students get placed at least somewhere in CSE especially. Google is the company a lot of the people get placed in. Highest package is around 2 Cr per annum and Average is around 12-20 Lacs per annum. Percentage of students that get placements is about 90%. There are a lot of internships options here and I know some students that have joined internships from the first year. My plans after getting a degree is to find a nice and comfortable job where I can balance my work and life and work hard there for good money.

DTU: A Perfect Blend of Learning and Campus life.

Placement Experience:

At DTU, students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester.TOP companies like Google , Microsoft, Amazon , Atlassian and Deloitte visit the campus. The highest packages touch above 1cr+, with an average around 15-20lpa for CSE. Most Students (90%+ in top branches) get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue a tech role in software development.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements begin in final or fourth year. So from 7th semester students become eligible for on campus placement.From 5th semester or 3rd year students are eligible for on campus internships with very good package. In Nsut all top companies like Google, microsoft ,adobe, amazon, flipkart and many more visit.Around 300 companies visit each year. Highest package in 2024 is 83lpa in cse branch and 18 lpa average.In cse placement percentage is 70%, and in ee it is lower around 40%.

NSUT- A rollercoaster but definitely must have experience.

Placement Experience:

After internship season gets over, placement season starts with starting from 7th semester. At the start a lot of good product based companies visit and gradually the package offered start decreasing. The placement season lasts for full one year and around 90-95% students get placed. Highest package - 80LPA (Atlassian) Average Package - 20LPA Some top companies which visit on campus - Google, Microsoft, Apple, Atlassian, Sprinklr, NVIDIA, Tower Research, Estee Advisors, PhonePe, Intuit, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Samsung, Texas Instruments, etc.

Placement Experience:

Infosys is major as nearly half the corwd is hired by them. Various other companies too but with very few requirements and it is difficult to get into those colleges as it is tough and very tough to be honest.

I started my master's in Chandigarh University before joining Jamia. We have to clear an entrance for JMI. In comparison, it is much better than Chandigarh University. The fee for Jamia is around 16000 for the course , whereas it's around 1.5 lakh there. Then comes the professors. They are much experienced and better in Jamia.
