My experience at IMT

No bad remarks has been received till yet. neither from companies which visit the campus nor students, nor faculty and nor even any third party. (best of my knowledge)

Talking about the course Curriculum it has been designed in such a way that it meets market requirement, giving a candidate both theoretical and practical knowledge of the subject. Its a 2 year program which includes internship in various field and duration is of 4 months. exam structure: College follows trimester system for better understanding and comfortability at learning. This course is more of research driven. Continuous assignment, case study, projects, presentation, industrial visit has taught me how theory are used in actual market. Along with this it has taught me how things work in corporate.

talking about both placements and internship, The college leaves no stone un-turn to get every student placed in their respective interest field. year after year, whether its a final placements or internship placement college is working harder. A great example to show the effort from IMT would be that even in this lockdown phase where other colleges are struggling to conduct their final exam and placements of students. IMT has placed 95% of its student and for remaining students they are still working hard and currently around 4 companies are in pipeline.

well there are separate small club and committee events held periodically. Along with this IMT also celebrates big events like Periodos (inter college competition), Ace Connect (corporate vs colleges), Implez, Ted-talks. with this one also gets the opportunity to enjoy every festival.

For the batch of 2018-2020 the fee was 12 Lakhs P.A. In my opinion this course is expensive and this is the average amount being charged. Colleges accepts all mode of payment. since I had loan so my bank gave every installment on time. There is no additional amount which is charged to secure the admission. its only the amount of first installment demanded to secure your seat in the college. yes, at the time of admission process college will give proper fee breakdown.

No, I didn't get any scholarship. I have taken an educational loan to finance my PGDM. there are different schemes run by government, one can take benefit of it. for this find out which bank is offering which scheme for which college.

it's a huge 30 acres campus in shamshabad. Full of greenery, space, impressive infrastructure. Too awesome weather. Imt Hyderabad campus has a gym, dance room, basketball court, football court, walking path, cricket field, table tennis, volleyball court, badminton court.

college has build a proper platform where a student can reach any alumni any time. and yes they very helpful.

candidate has to appear for entrance exam like CAT, XAT, CMAT ( exams are held in Nov, Jan, and Dec respectively) and score good marks in that. After meeting all the criteria from the college requirement, it sends call letter for GD/WAT + PI process. Once the candidate clears that too. He/she is eligible for admission.

All the Faculty in IMT have experience of both corporate market, industry and teaching. They all are PHD qualified and few of them are IIMs Alumni. Average age faculties are around 40-50 yrs. they have their expertise hand in general management, marketing, operations, Finance, Analytics,& IT, HR. They also have their research paper, case studies approved and printed from HBS. There is no doubt that they are very well trained and full of knowledge in their respective domain. one really enjoys the way the teach.
