IMT Nagpur Review

IMT is a very well known college for management education as well as good industry connections. It has excellent faculty in areas such as finance and general management. The college has a well-maintained infrastructure for personal and professional growth. It also fosters a healthy learning environment.

The course offered is PGDM Core PGDM Finance and PGDM Marketing. The course curriculum is structured such that every 3 credit course has 20 sessions of 90 minutes each. The session is very stimulating as there are both horizontal as well as vertical communication between faculty to students and students to students. Some of the facilities are exceptional and most of them are good. The terms exams happened on time and the difficulty level varies from easy to moderate.

The college has a summer internship programme. The college provides internship opportunities as well. The students can also hunt for the internship themselves. The roles offered for the intern profile are mostly marketing specific.

The college has dedicated placement cells. The placement is decent enough. The median package is around 6 lakhs per annum and the average is around 7 LPA. Some well-known companies come and hire. The roles offered are also very diverse.

The fees structure is 12 lakh for two years. The fees are being paid in 6 instalments. The scholarships are available and one can refer to the college respective website for more holistic information about scholarship and fees.

The campus life is exhilarating. The campus is complete students driven which also allows developing the managerial skills one is learning in College. There is various fest which happens in college such as M35.

The hostel facilities are good. Since the college campus was closed because of the pandemic can't really tell. But the information is available on the college website which one can access and obtain the relevant information.

I did give an online interview for the admission process. The interview questions were mostly concerned about general affairs in business and society in general. There were also some standard questions such as the purpose of doing an MBA etc.
