Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Our course structure was very dynamic, I would say. Theory to practical ratio is 35:65, which means more emphasis is paid towards practical learning since students can get hands-on experience with the tools and all the latest technologies. The library was another assisting factor in the quality of teaching that was being imparted there.

Placement Experience

4

The placement is pretty good at David Memorial College. There is a placement wing in the college which caters to the placement needs of the students. Some of the frequent recruiters include ICICI, TCS, etc. Apart from the placement assistance, placement cell also assists in the personality development of the students.

College Events

4

Our college actively pushed students to maintain a healthy balance between academics and extracurricular activities. We participated in various activities like tree plantation, yoga day, photography competitions, etc. Sports day was celebrated once every year, and it was the most fun. I participated in the college volleyball team which won the silver medal at the annual sports day.

Fee Structure And Facilities

One year fee during my batch was a little over 2.25 lakh and in total, I ended up paying 4.5 lakhs. I availed of a concession in the fee because of my merit in the entrance exam. Overall the facilities provided are pretty decent.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers many scholarship opportunities based on the marks scored in the qualifying exam. Students securing top spots in the university exams also receive monetary grants and other perks like fee concession.

Campus Life

4

Campus life was pretty awesome in the DMBS. We use to have a no-stress Thursday. We celebrated many festivals on the college campus and made many friends. I won’t forget my days at David Memorial College.

Admission

I appeared for the CAT entrance exam which is a management level entrance exam. My admission was done on the basis of merit. I applied for the MBA program through online mode, uploaded all the relevant documents, along with my exam scores, and waited for the merit list. Overall, it was a pretty smooth process.

Faculty

4

The faculty was supportive and offered guidance at each step. Though some of them focus on wrapping up the syllabus, most of them were very helpful. But overall we had very good terms with our faculty members. They were very accessible and ready to help us with our queries.
