Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure fro the agribusiness program is customized specifically to enhance the output of the agriculture industry in India and prepare strategists, managers, and consultants for this specific industry. The course included studying about different subjects like business economics, financial budgeting, marketing and strategizing, etc.
College Events
Placements are top-notch in our college. Companies from different domains would visit our campus. Major recruiters during my batch included companies like ITC, Aditya Birla, Technoserve, Grant Thorton, etc. The highest package offered during our batch was around 7 LPA. In addition to that numerous personality development programs are also organized by our placement cell.
Fee Structure And Facilities
My first year course fee was INR 373,000 and total course fee was somewhere around 7.5 lacs. Course fee was on the expensive side for me to be honest. I took a student loan for the program. But eventually the services were at par with the fee structure.
Campus Life
During our 2 year program, we attended endless seminars, guest lectures on the campus. The guest faculty was very talented and deliver lectures with sheer dedication. Sankalp, Analytica, Advitya were some of the competitive events organized in the college to promote enable exchange of ideas and entice the overall development of students.
Admission
My admission was done on the basis of my MAT scores, for which I prepared for almost 8 months. I wanted to join my family business that's why opted for this program. The selection process for the PGDM program is as follows: Give MAT or CAT exam Apply with your academic record and test results on the official website of the college. Wait for the merit list. Once a merit list is prepared students are invited for the counseling round. The next step would be GDPI round and after that, you will be informed about your admission status. Overall, the entire admission process was pretty hectic.
Faculty
We shared a pretty deep bond with our faculty members. They would share their personal experiences to make learning more fun. Like one of our finance professors had worked in ITC and he used to share his experiences about dealing with farmers and stock management. And how we can leverage this information for our personal benefit.
