I can defenitely vouch that geeting into NAARM was one of the life changing experience in my life with good learning experience and value for money.

The course Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Agriculture), has a very well framed and evolved course structure that involves industry specific subjects like Management Information System, Enterprise Resource Planning, Rapid Application of B/s using Cloud etc. All our professors are Principal Scientists and highly resourceful in their subjects. Some of them are so cool with the students that they become your best friends. Our professors play a pivotal role in grooming us for the summer placements. We have one professor per student appointed as our mentor throughout the year to look into our academic activities and placement. The placecom team in NAARM is also a consoludated group of brilliant professors and vibrant students who look into the placements of the students. We also have erudition-a series of guest lectures from industry professionals to provide us with insights about the company and the industries.

NAARM has 100% placements ever since inception with fair number of companies visiting the campus each year. We have companies like UPL, TATA rallis, Samunnati, Waycool, East west seeds, Godrej agrovet, ITC, TCS, TAFE, Federal bank etc. visiting our campus for summerplacements and final placements. The placements are facilitated by the placement committee in NAARM which is an active collaboration of our professors and students.

All the festivals are celebrated in NAARM with equal importance and those are one of the most memorable times in the year. Yet another coveted event in NAARM is Sankalp-the annual B fest held by the college wherein we have participants flocking from all over India with around 4000 registrations every year. We have events like Samadhan-the case study competition, Advitiya-the B-plan competition, Adhishtitha-the best manager competition, Analytica-the data analysis competetion which are some of our flagship events. Attractive prizes are given to the winners every year with free accommodation and food for all the participants.

The fees for the year 2019-21 was a total of 7 lakh 45 thousand for academics food and accommodation combined. This i can vouch is the most cost effective fees for the quality education and superb food and accommodation that we recieve at NAARM. one has to pay this amount as two bullets of 3lakh 72 thousand at the beginning of 1st year and later at 2nd year. Value for money is assured in this course.

I opted for education loan via Canara bank. I got an amount of 6lakh in two bullets of 3lakh every year. I applied for the loan via the Vidyalakshmi portal. The necessary documents asked by the bank inculded 10 and 12 marksheet, graduation certificate, marksheet, offer letter from NAARM, fee structure of NAARM, nativity certificate, caste certificate. I got the loan without any collateral and on third party guarantee and hence my cousin brother's (who was my guaranter) income certificate was also demanded by the bank.

We have 22 girls and 27 boys in our batch with is nearly balanced gender ratio. NAARM has a lush green campus that is soothing to one's eyes and mind with the best kind of infrastructural facilities. We have a sports complex with gyms, table tennis court, billiards court, badminton courts, a separate basket ball court, tennis court, volley ball court etc. All of these are utilised by our students after class hours. We have a common mess hall for our students and teachers where we gather un evenings to savour the delicious food at NAARM. The evening walks, late night meetings and presentations are the memories to be cherished and kept for a lifetime. NAARM is a kalidoscope of different colors, states, tastes, experiences and knowledge which have to be experienced rather than explained.

Yes all our students will receive accommodation in the Hall of Residence in NAARM, and it is a must as this is a completely residential program. The rentals for the hostel and the mess charges are included in the 2-year fee of 7lakh 45thousand.

During our freshers period, which is the first 3-months of the college we get to see a lot of our alumni visiting our campus to give us knowledge and take grooming sessions to prepare for the business world. These are the best times wherein we develop cordial relationships with many of them and also get to learn completely new things related to the business world. Late night work stress, establishing cordial relations in work environment and the importance of formal dressing etc are inculcated during these times. Our alumni also play a puvotal role in the campus placement. NAARM has an alumni basis of 10years if over 300 professionals.

The admission to NAARM takes place via both CAT & CMAT. I had written CMAT and secured 97%. Thereafter i applied for NAARM and NIAM via their respective websites. A form was available to download and later i filled it. Along with this form the required documents mentioned in the website like CMAT gradereport, 10th and 12th certificates, Graduation marksheet, caste certificates for reservation etc was posted to their address. Based on the marks in entrance exam and other parameters they will shortlist for interview and group discussion. The first round for every candidate would be gd in sets of 10-12. Followed by gd will come the interview section wherein a panel of 4 professors would ask you about anything under the sun. The questions will be usually around agriculture, graduation background, favourite subjects and many other things. Around 55% weightage is for both gd and interview and hence to secure an admission in NAARM its pretty important to perform well in gd and interview.

All our professors are Principal Scientists who are one of the most brilliant minds in India. We have almost 12-14 lectures per subject per trimester. The academics is a matter of importance in NAARM and is perceived seriously. The academic curriculum is very evolved and industry relevant subjects.
