Course Curriculum Overview

Yes, it is quite relevant. I learnt android app development and many other technical skills. Server and networking knowledge. Got make this automation project using cucumber BDD tool where in I created the project on my own while enhancing my skills.

Placement Experience

Prettu high percentage in placement. Not only this the placement structure is very refined and all of the students get jobs in their respective domains.

College Events

1. There were youth festivals 2. Science workshops 3. Cultural fests 4. Sports day 5. All festivals were celeberated 6. Surveys 7. Environmental activities 8. NCC camps I was basically a part of NCC group and I have C certificate for NCC. I also like to sing, dance, yoga so I was part of every cultural activity in my college.

Admission

I was fully sponsored by my company for 4 years. Got admission in 2015 mid. I chose mtech because I wanted to continue my career in software field and was very good in programming skills. Now the current It field is all about automation, so I opt it majorly to enhance my automation skills.

Faculty

Overall 32 lecturers. Average age was 40 and most of them were phds. There really expert in there domains. Yes some of them had certifications and industry experience. So they were pretty good in understanding my whole industry challenges. It was good being there student.

Campus placement for M.Tech students usually begins in the 3rd semester, allowing students to build their technical knowledge and complete relevant projects. The TPC is active and brings in a mix of core and IT giants and research-driven organizations. QUALCOMM, TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, MICROCHIP, Marvel, Intel, SAMSUNG, and AMAZON regularly visit the campus. The highest package will be 30 LPA, mid and avg are approximately the same, about 24 LPA, approximately 80% students get placed through campus drives, while others pursue Ph.D and research projects. Personally, after completing my degree, I aim to expand my embedded system knowledge to work in the semiconductor industry, while also keeping the option of pursuing doctoral research abroad if the right opportunity arises

Placement Experience:

There were total 11 students in my batch of M.tech AR-VR. From 3rd semter everyone becomes eleigible for the placements. Almost each of the companies related to IT/CS/AI were allowed us to sit for the placements. Almost each of the students who were looking for placements got the opportunity either through campus or non-campus drive. One student got the PhD opportunity. Rest 10 students got some opportunity in different companies on roles like Softawre Development Engineer, Data Scientist, AI Research Engineer, GenAI Engineer, Research Associate etc.

I selected this college over other colleges due to its legacy, exposure and opportunities. The freedom to traverse through multiple domains and it's flexible academics. I had applied to almost all biotech, bio engineering related colleges to get into health sector domain. I did not get rejection from any of the colleges. The admission process of my college includes an eligibility test, BITSAT, the scores of which determine admission into thsi college. I had appeared for the test in PCB subjects instead of PCM. I chose BITS Pilani over other colleges due to its academic flexibilitym vibrant culture, zero reservation and merit based admission process. I had confirmed admissions from other colleges such as DTU but I opted for BITS primarily because of it Practice School program and the autonomy it offers in shaping your academic journey.
