Remarks

Yeah definitely. Our faculty is quite good maybe lake of professionalism because of management hire anyone to teach us. Because of this management, this college is going this way. They think only about their profit, the management should change staff and also think about student wellbeing. The management doesn't give us solutions in one stop, they just send us from one table to another for our solution to the problem. The management should change and should be student friendly not this type of nerd.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

To be honest I have just wasted my 5 years in this college. As engineering is a professional course but there are no practicals even they don't conduct practical exams in a proper way. This college is only limited to the books and notes, no practical knowledge, no field view, nothing related to real life. They give us just book knowledge, if we engineers don't know how to apply this knowledge on the field then how could be a good engineer.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is no company to visit our college for placement.

College Events

0.5

We have only annual game event and farewell. And we organise a game after the classes over. We organise a cricket and football competition every year after the class over means after 4:30 pm. And in annual sports, we have many games but those are very low budget compare to they took fees for our annual activities

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees are high but it's obvious for private college. But they don't give us that facility which is we should deserve for our fees. The fees structure is like this way Admission fees 10000, and 5000 for the security deposit, later on, they return it. And 55000 for each semester, we have a total of 8 nos of the semester. And for exam fees, they took 2300 and every year they took 2200 for registration which is for no reason.

Fees and Financial Aid

I opt for an education loan. I apply for an education loan by myself from a bank. We can't afford this much so we need to take an education loan for study.

Campus Life

4

Everything is below average. The gender ratio is high. Curriculum activity annual sport annual event everything under budget. But one thing is good zero raggings. Ragging is totally prohibited in our campus. We are far away from politics since we are an engineering student. But we have some knowledge of economic we have a good teacher of economics, he taught economic related to the current situation, which is beneficial to us and easy to apply in daily life.

Alumni/Alumna

Yeah. The senior is quite good they helpful in nature Seniors are not talking about study much but they give us notes as well as good advice to have a better job.

Admission

From my childhood, I like those tall building made of glass, those big houses with a beautiful garden, those beautiful structures, hotels, school. I'm very passionate about all of these so I decided to be a civil engineer and design these amazing structures. Now come into the point how I get admission to this college. The first day I visit the college and I like the college because I came from govt school so this college is found so attractive. Then I go for admission & a walk in interview they saw my mark sheet and all documents and I get admission to this college.

Faculty

4

I must say the temporary professor is not good but some of the teachers are very good at their work. We need these kinds of the teacher in our all colleges and schools for India's better future. Some teachers are full of egoistic, they don't care about the student and some are there which are always there for their student. I know I should not mention here anybody's name but I must say her name Miss Anwesha Gayan is the best teacher of our whole engineering time.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not really good in our college, it is more of a research institute so it mainly focuses on PhD as PhD strength is good. Higher education is more prefered here but placement scenario is also good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very relevant and is different for different branches according to their needs. I was interested in civil engineering and chose the course and find the curriculum intersting and relevant for me . The curriculum offers subject which are important for real world applications, like in civil engineering it's offers subjects like building construction, solid mechanics, fluid mechanics, material testing, serving, etc. The course curriculum is very good but the teaching methods needs improvement like more digitalization . The exams frequency and timings are neither too late nor too early, they are perfectly planned and executed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There exists a good teaching staff that's why the course is very easy to understand also teachers give us good examples also do practicals so that's students understand the course easily . I see that there exist a low no of equipments in practical lab compare to it's students ratio so if they have a good no of equipments then all students get equipment to do experiment without any waste of time . Time is good as compare to marks and the first 30 marks are beginner level the other 40 marks are intermediate level and the remaining 30 Marks are advanced level questions in a question paper for the students they published.

Placement Experience:

The placement scenario is quite good, with several reputed companies like General Electric, Power Grid Corporation of India, Goldman Sachs, among others recruiting 94 percent of the students in the college. The placement takes place in three rounds, one testing one's aptitude, followed by an hour round, finally leading on to a technical round. Mock interview and job cracking sessions are organized regularly, both by the departments, and also the Training and Placement Cell, to prepare students for the interviews and examinations going forward. The Training and Placement Cell also provides internship opportunities at the end of third year for the students, based on their aptitude and abilities

Remarks:

I have mostly positive remarks about college except for the fact that the college is situated really far from mainstream north India. Train connectivity is not that strong to rest of country. But despite that the college is extremely good in the sense of learning, meeting new innovative minds, and of course placements and jobs.
