Remarks

Because I have interest to take up the course, I love to study and learn about various structure of rural livelihood schemes, lifestyle of the people and governments Arppoach towards providing various funds and other schemes for their welfare. I took admission because the course is available in this college

Might be good but not up to my expectations because my medium is english and hindi but they mostly speak in their native language and it's very hard to understand sometimes, especially while they're explaining something in the class

They held event's every now and then, there are various programmes too but most of it is not done in English which is often difficult to understand and stay, I suggest the program to be held in English sometimes

Might be good but being a central university I expect much better facilities and maintenance of campus, its not so good as I've expected, because often the roads are not so clean the buildings are not well maintained

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester where you have to do an internship project for the semester based Most of the companies that visit are from the news organisations like Bangalore Times, The Hindu, Mint, Times of India, Deccan Herald and other companies like ITC also visit frequently. I am not quite sure about the packages offered.

The Best College for Education

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose economics because it is very much relevant to the present generation as well as the previous. As economics needs analytics skills it prepares for current world. Exams were every 3-4 months frequently and it is not difficult to pass.

My college life in Jyoti Nivas College

Placement Experience:

By the end of the 2nd semester, we are constantly notified about any vacancies in any department. The college placement cell sends us notifications through our class monitors or sometimes throyoutlr HOD. Even after the end of our final semester exam, we are added in a group that is specially meant for job opportunities and placements, where they constantly update and notify us. Out of 32 students in our class, a total of 12 students got placement. As for me, my plan is to do PhD in the said field.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum is relevant for us which helps us to attempt competitive exams. Actually the curriculum changes our mindset and it helps to face the real society. I don't think that improvements needes in curriculum. We get one & half hour for internal tests and 3 hours for sem exams and it is enough foe us to cover whole question paper.

curriculum is extensive and large and some students find it hard to grasp all the knowledge given for the syllabus. it may seem daunting at first but i rather prefer this than having little to nothing to study as it helps me find new things to read which i would have never figured out before.
