Remarks

Near to my house and I thought that dispur law college is good for law education. I belong from very poor family so I found that this college is affordable for me .That is the only for which I took admission in this college.

Syllabus is not updated.in law course syllabus must be update according to the need of the society.Lawyers are the social physician of the society . Proper teachers are also play important role in the development of students.

Different Roles, Different Names Criminal Lawyer: Specialises in criminal laws CrPC, IPC, Evidence Act and various other penal laws. Civil Litigation Lawyer: Specializes in civil laws e.g. taxation laws, excise laws. Legal Analyst: Works for corporate firms or law firms and analyses laws pertaining to the sphere of the company and its operation. Document Drafting Lawyer: Specialises in drafting various documents containing agreements, terms and conditions, case material, etc. Legal Journalist: Covers crime beats, legal proceedings in courts, arbitration courts, international courts and arbitration events. Legal Advisor: Offers consultancy to corporate firms regarding their legal obligations, duties, legal relations with other firms.

I don't get any scholarship .Very few scholarship programs are based solely on an application form or essay is to tell your story, not to demonstrate how many words you know. So scholarship boost the students with financial assistance

Not very good.we suufer from toilet issue In college, there is no proper water facility in the toilet of our college. Campus infrastructure needed to be upgraded through which students can be benefited .

Hostel Facilities

hostel is a shelter for the students who come from far off places. Students live there with each other and learn the value of discipline and co-operation. The atmosphere of a hostel is conducive to study. Generally, hostels are situated close to school or college.

My academic experience at University Law College, Gauhati University

Likes

The faculty of this college contains teacher with very strong academic background. The faculty consists of 5 Assistant Professors and 15 Teaching Associates and their dedication and availability towards students is commendable.
The campus is situated within the Gauhati University Campus which makes it a great place to live in. The facilities provided by the campus includes the Moot Court Hall, the Gauhati University Stadium, the BKB Auditorium and bunch of hostel options.
The course provided by ULC GU covers a wide range of legal subjects which also includes the knowledge of certain State Laws of Assam. The academic course is very beneficial for in depth knowledge in every aspect of law.

Dislikes

The only part which I dislike about the college is the lack of a placement cell. But the alumni base of the college is very strong which definitely is very beneficial for the students passing out of this place to seek jobs as a fresher.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ULC, GU being one of the premier law colleges in the North Ease of India, I chose this college because of the course structure which prepares students to make a law career for themselves along with the faculty from various esteemed colleges of India which includes the likes of University of Goa, Government Law College, Gauhati etc. The college helps students seek internships with various legal professsionals which prepares the students not only accademically but also the face the practical legal world after college. The courese need no specific improvement but the availibility of a placement cell would had been a great addition to thish college. The exams are conducted half yearly which rigorously tests the students legal knowledge in every aspect.

Tezpur Law College is One of the best College of Tezpur in the North Eastern State Assam, India. Teaching quality is best there. Good facilities are provided by the college. Admission to the course is done on the basis of merit and admission test conducted by the college. Application form for admission is available at the college campus or at the official website for downloading. The admission test is conducted in mid may and the results are out by june first week.

A marvelous instituition in the making

Admission:

The only criteria to get into NLUJAA is to crack CLAT and get a rank above 2000. The application for CLAT generally begins on the first of January and ends on the 31st of March. The exam is held on the second Sunday of May. The course for the entrance comprises of GK, Logical Reasoning, Legal Reasoning, Maths and English.

An NLU is a place to be!

Remarks:

It is human tendency that we always look for something better, but in NLUJA things seem to be growing at the right pace. Instead of looking for a better management, I think the students' participation and enthusiasm must be encouraged. A college/university is only what the students make it, and it cannot grow until and unless the students take an initiative.

Honest Review from University Topper

Remarks:

I was a part of this college for 5 years and I know this college well. This college should have an auditorium for conducting seminars and there should be College week so that the students can take part in various competitions. Moreover the library has insufficient books and most of them are outdated as new editions of those books are available in market. There are very limited books. Library doesn't have Manupatra, SSC online etc.and the computers are outdated. The administration is average they fail to respond well at times. The best thing about this college is that it secures 1st position in University results.
