Bharata Mata college is a NAAC accredited 'A+' grade college in Kochi city that imparts quality education and placements to the students. This college is one of the very few Mahatma Gandhi University affiliated colleges that caters to the placement needs of students with integrity.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course curriculum is designed in the form of four semesters including core subjects, complimentary. The college offers intership opportunities to students that adds to their practical skills in.social work. Industrial visits and a main project is part of the academic curriculum of Masters in Social work. Faculty of the college comprises of expert professors and lecturers.

Course Fees : INR 26500 per year

Placement Experience :

Bharata Mata College provides good placements to its final year students, who wish to kick start their corporate career immediately after the graduation or post graduation. Top companies that visits the campus for placements are Wipro, Deloitte, TCS etc. This is an added advantage to the programmes offered.

College Events :

Campus life and Events in BMC is really good, that offers a relief to the students and plays a better part in developing the innate traits of students. The college has a student union that conducts all the extra curricular events in the campus like the College day, Arts day, union inaugration, onam etc. Moreover there are departmental fests and activities that adds to these and provides immense opportunities for students to participate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Literature is something I loved since schooling. I remember going to school library and reading a lot of Shakespeare's novels and other books. I always admired world of Shakespeare. My interest in books and literature made me choose English literature. When I was searching for a good college, a lot of people suggested Nehru College which had the best faculties of English. College was a bit far from home but I decided to give it a try which was worth it. I had the best experience in nehru. The curriculum evaluation makes sure that all the objectives required for a student is fulfilled. They make sure that the students are getting the best possible way of learning. Also they give us insights about the further studies. Along with academics, the faculties make sure that they prepare us for various competitive exams like UGC NET. The only area where the literature students face stress is exams. The paper is very lengthy that students find it difficult to complete the exam on time.

Just experience it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Good faculty and availability of museum and library,more than academics the college and course provides extra benefits such as communication skills, personal development etc.. Teaching method is still the old school method were teachers spoon feeds the students it must be limited and self teaching methods should be encouraged more,there the sem exams will be 2:30 hrs and those are more subjective and extra papers included languages like Hindi , Malayalam,Tamil, English.(it's according to institutions)

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although this course was taken with great interest, the need for improvement was realized during the course. There was no continuation of what was studied in each semester. The curriculum should be improved and an updated syllabus should be included. Exams are conducted at regular intervals. There is a growing need to improve the teachers because being a government college it seems that in many cases the teachers are not doing their job and the class is progressing only through seminars and presentations. At the same time, it has been possible to get to know the scholars and gain a lot of knowledge through some of their classes
