DCE was famous for its advancement in Mechanical Engineering because of its student exchange program( Now not functional ), various techincal teams manufacturing different types of automobiles, advanced labs for research purpose and great placement opportunities( till late 2000's placement for mechanical engineering was close 200% ie everybody had more than one offer but now with increase in strength and growing IT sector it has significantly taken a fall to 85-95%)
Course Curriculum Overview
Course syllabus in not upto date with new emerging norms of the industry and about industrial exposure it is non significant. Campus Internships are hard to get for ME students.(Even if you get only 1 or 2 offer PPO's )

Placement Experience
During placemet session T&P is filled with coding/data analytics companies and as compared to these core companies offeres less package and opportunities. But sooner or later you do get placed.During my session more than 240 comapnies visited with offers ranging from 40 LPA to 3LPA.
College Events
Campus life is very buzzing and chaotic at the same time. Everyday there is some fest or seminar or competiton.The tech teams ans society are very good for extracurricular and these things really help you in your placements be it you Core companies, data analytics or coding/Software.
Campus Life
Campus is just awesome, the only thing to remember about college is the lush green campus, lake,OAT & Mini OAT sports complex, Boys hostel 3rd floor view. And all this brings out the photographer in you.
