Remarks

The college is very near to Airoli railway station. It is very near to mulund. The infrastructure is also good. College has good lab (IT). Teachers are cooperation. They are well trained. I got 104 marks in CET. As per my marks It was the best option for me to choose. And hence I joined DMCE.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is the same as another engineering college in Mumbai. Dmce is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. The updated course is really good. The course material and practicals are related to the industry.

Placement Experience

Companies like Capgemini, Accenture, Infosys visits our college every year. the placement opportunities are on average. But if you're a bright student then there is a good opportunity that you'll get a chance in one of those companies.

College Events

The overall campus life was good. The teachers were cooperative and good. The non-teaching staff is not that good. I met some good friends. The college conducts two big festivals in the year. Even one hackathon also conducted.

Campus Life

Infrastructure is good. But there is no ground in the college. The library is quite big. The library has lots of books and research papers that you can use. They have e general and e-library option as well.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. Datta meghe is moderate tier 3 college, i choose this college because it is near my home and my cousin also studied from this college it is good . I am trying for VIT Mumbai which my aim to get but cut off of this college is high. In datta meghe you can get addmission through jee, mht cet and management Cet cut off for computer branch is near to 92.5 percentile for general for caste it is low Most of the students get addmission through MHT cet in my college. REALITY OF Datta Meghe College of Engineering

I got this college through Mhtcet exam, and yes I opted for other college too but the cutoff for branch i wanted was too high in other college so i had to take admission in DMCE. talking about the admission process you can take admission through 2 ways: Official goverment rounds or management rounds. Majority of students take admission from cap round which accepts both Mhtcet and JEE examination. 90% of students get admission by Mhtcet exam. i have applied for many ot the colleges like somaiya, vjti, dy patil but my percectile was no that good for those colleges thats why i choose datta meghe college and my travelling time also becomes less my admission process was they basically look for your cet and java percentile the candidatemust have passed class 12 with subjects like phy chem and maths for direct second yr admission candidate should have a diploma in enginnering or technology with a minimum of 45% admission process is step 1: apply for mht cet or jee main.step2: appear for the exam.step3:after the exam results ,participate in the centralized admission by the Directorate of technical education maharashtra. step4: for mht cet ,based on the rank and preferences the DTE college will allot seats in various eng collegs including datta meghe college step 5: after seat allotmnet candidates need to verify documents and pay the admission fees to cinfirm the seat...Read More
