Remarks

Best arts college in india. Well experienced staff professors and a very big campus with dedicated football and cricket ground,basketball court, hockey ground, volleyball court. The college also is engaged in promoting cultural activities and social works. There are many socio clubs in the college as well as NCC wings.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our college regularly updates the courses to keep it up to date. We are provided with two exposure visits, one each per semester. The faculties are well educated and provide good value of education to us students.

Yes.Deccan chronicles newspaper agency was the company and i was intering there as a reporter. I didnt recieve any stripend.

Ovations is the college culturals, aetihasik was our department culturals, The Ovations is very big fest in which lots of celebrities are invited as guests and many sponsors are also invited. In this program competition is held among various departments. Alumni day is also held in our college where the old students are invited as guests and honoured for their achievements.

College has dedicated football ,cricket, hockey grounds, basketball court,volleyball court. The college has a very big library with variety of books. Then the college also provides us with wifi facilities in the college for our students use.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Madras School of Economics - A Comprehensive Review for Bachelor's

Course Curriculum Overview:

Has a lot of new age courses like MS Excel, Python and Data Science. It prepares you fairly well for roles like Data Analyst, Financial Modelling, etc. Areas for improvement include optimising the curriculum load as per the students. Two internals (one after a month after sem starts, second a few weeks before the end sem) and the end sem. I feel the end sem is relatively easier due to the preparation we endure for the internals.

MCC - Education meets culture

Course Curriculum Overview:

Political science syllabus in our college is pretty upgraded. The way it's structured is also pretty good. For a student of Political Science, they first gives us an introduction of the discipline theoretically explaining the subject before moving to it's real life examples. Out syllabus covers almost everything that is required for a Political Science graduate. Faculties make it even more effective using assignments and their lectures.
