Remarks

First factor was the course itself. It is well structured and very rigorous. Second, the city of Pune. The city itself is enough reason for a student to go there. It is very student friendly city. Third, the campus location is in the center of the city. Fourth, the diversity in the university is really good for an individuals growth.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well up to date. The best part about the course it that it is very rigorous. It will be challenging but you will learn a lot. Yes enough industrial exposure is provided. The faculty is amazing. The professors are very friendly and always available

Placement Experience

The placements in the college are pretty average. Even though there are alot of internship opportunities but full time job opportunities are limited. The average package is around 6L p.a. Companies like Kingfish, ZS Associates, NABARD visit the campus for placements among other companies.

College Events

The campus life is very nice. We have on ground events. There are a lot activities going on everyday. Plus the college has its annual fest which gives an opportunity for students to showcase their talents. Plus we have annual events such as Ethnic DAY, Foundation Day, Economist of the year etc.

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

I chose SSE over JGU without a doubt and have no regrets about the same. The course in JGU was new and interesting. I quite liked it but personally economics and "Symbiosis" appealed more to me.
