Remarks

As its government college with automous and there are only eight government engineering colleges in Maharashtra and its very appreciable to get admission in this college. Due to the automous there is difference in syllabus than university syllabus. Teaching and placement are also average and there are further study can be done in same college like mtech after BE.Labs are also good due to availability of different instruments. Overall its good collge for engineering.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course syllabus is best updated with the gate syllabus. All faculty members are well trained and everyone help and sort problems. Each of the them are supportive. Both theoretical and practical have the same importance. Industry visit and projects are also given to students.

Placement Experience

Placement is increasing year by year due to efforts taken by Tpo members and others too. Alumni members support everyone for placements. Students have to crack aptitude test and thereafter interview sessions held. Many of the company's like bpcl,capgemini, worley,etc visit the colleges for placement.

College Events

many events held in college. main event is aavishkar. Students from other college participate in this event. In this event there are both technical and non technical events held. First three Winner get the prize.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities of hostel is best than the other college hostel as the size of room are big in size there are reading rooms, tv room, wifi facilities are also available in hostel. Most important hygiene is also maintained.

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

I have given MHT-CET exam to be eligible to get admission in this collge with the mimum percentile of 95. Then through cap round-1 I got this college. I availed the benefit of EBC scholarship which require the income proof of less than 8 Lakhs per annum. Due to EBC Scholarship I got 50% tuition fee waiver.The eam has intermediate to high difficulty level. Admission process was very convenient.
