Remarks

Panipat Institute Of Engineering and Technology is one of the best institute in Panipat. It is a private university.I have chosen this college because this is a good college and is co-ed college. PIET is one of the best engineering colleges in Haryana and Delhi NCR.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course syllabus is according to Kurukshetra University. It changes accordingly how it is prescribed by the authorities. The college provides an industrial exposure to everyone. Children are given equal chance to go to industrial visits.Facilities are so good including light as well as water.

Placement Experience

The job placements are very good in our College. Alumni batch of the college provides seminars for students every year in order to make children understand that why marks are less important than Knowledge. The exposure they provide to children so that they earn knowledge.

Our college arrange cultural events like carbunacle on large scale.There is a event for 4 to 5 days every year where bollywood star and pollywood stars come. Technical events are arranged by our college for inter as well as intra college.Children participate with zeal and enthusiasm.

Fees and Financial Aid

Actually good scholarship is provided to children when they take admission in our College. Children are given discount according to the marks obtained in the previous exams. But the college provides good scholarship to the people who are financially weak.

Campus Life

The campus infrastructure is so good.It contains a central library as well as department library.There are playgrounds for basketball, volleyball as well as for cricket and badmintion. Wi-fi facility is available for all departments and contains cyber cafe as well as there are 4 to 5 canteens.

Hostel Facilities

No as it is near my home i dont stay in hostel. I go to colllege on daily basis. But i have heard the college facilities are good. Proper facilities are provided to students.Mess food is also good which is served with proper hygiene.Proper sanitation is available in both boys and girls hostel.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.
