PIET : No.1 College For B.Pharmacy

The curriculum of B.Pharmacy at PIET is mainly focused on practical exposure. It is not like you are studying only about medicines and all but never getting to chnace to apply that in the real world; PIET offers that opportunity. Here, the curriculum is updated according to the latest advancements in the pharma industry and what industries actually need. And the best part of the curriculum is the value added courses. Here, i'm not only getting a degree in B.Pharmacy but also certifications in yoga and meditaion, health and nutrition, etc.

Internships are mandatory for everyone at PIET. B.Pharma is a four year program, and here we do a total of 8 internships during the program, 2 internships in a year. I completed my first four internships and learned a lot from them. The CAC ( Career Advancement Cell) of PIET is very active and helps us get internships in the right companies. the internships can also be converted into full time jobs if you do well, but that is possible during the last year internships.

For Pharmacy students, companies like Cipla, Zydus Lifesciences, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries are active recruiters. Over 240+ recruiters have visited PIET till now to recruit students, and more than 6000 students have been placed. My hostel mate, who is my senior and also from the same program, got a job with a package of 6 LPA in a pharmaceutical company, where he works as a senior pharmacist, and he grabbed that opportunities with the help of the Career Advancement Cell, which is a dedicated department of PIET for placements.

If you compare PIET's B.Phamrmacy fees with other institutes, then PIET is on the positive side, Maybe some institutes charge less than PIET, but for me, the fee is reasonable and justifed for what we are getting from the program. Students who need financial help can apply for the scholarship schemes run by PIET. PIET Quest is the most popular scholarships with the PAT (which is an entrance test), and there are also many scholarship schemes based on academic achievements, sports achievements, and cultural achievements.

I am a member of the Chill in Club at PIET, which promotes and sometimes organizes extra curricular activities. Last month, our club played a major role in organizing Maestros 2026, from inviting guests to setting the stage and maintaining proper discipline, all of which were handled by our club. This helped me increase my management and communication skills. Also, every other day there is something happening on the campus, and if you are willing to learn, you can become a part of the societies and clubs at PIET. Overall, the vibe is chill and engaging.

The process of admission starts with filling out the online application form and then following the instructions provided by the admission counsellor. Getting admission to PIET is not that tough, but there are lots of students and the seats are limited. Your marks in competitive exams are also considered during the admission process. Overall, the process is easy and smooth just keep your necessary documents updated.

One of our professors at PIET is a retired professional from on of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in India. He has years of experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, and he brings real world experience to the classroom. Other professors are also good, with strong pharma backgrounds. they encourage us to work on real world project and help us to get internships through their links.

Nightlife at PIET is fun. Personally, for me, it is reconnecting time. I meditate while sitting in a garden after classes and then go to the gym with my friend, and after that we go straight to the hostel mess and end our day while eating ice cream in the canteen. This is our daily ritual. Overall, the campus looks beautiful at night, and you can roam around anywhere on the campus without worrying about safety. There is a team of security guards ( male and female) available 24/7.
