Remarks

The college is very reputed from my mother's time. It is a very popular and good college in south Kolkata. The location is very good and buses are always available. The college is quite affordable in terms of fee too.

Course Curriculum Overview

Syllabus is followed as per the CBCS system of Calcutta University. The teachers are very good and helpful. They always complete the syllabus. During the lockdown, we were given more than 60 classes in 3 months which his also a good count.

Placement Experience

Students generally doesn't seek jobs after graduation now. They go for higher education. We thus have no placement cell in our college. However we are trained and counselling sessions are held regularly.

College Events

We have one main building and 2 subs. The buildings are huge and all the events except sports take place inside the college campus. Sports Day is celebrated in Deshapriya Park. We also have karate classes and photography clubs.

I would rate the course curriculum in terms of relevance as moderately relevant.My decision to choose this course was primarily influenced by its research learning facility and practical based learning.The curriculum helps each individual to prepare for further comepetitive exams and expanding their jobs option with full and profound knowledge of data based works and computer skills.To enhance the course curriculum and teaching methods , I would suggests dedicating deep learning with lots of real life examples, updating the syllabus to recent advancements Providing recorded lectures would be of so much help and providing more opportunities for students to present their work giving them detailed feedback would improve the skills and learning capacity of the students.

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

After getting my degree of graduation I will apply for govt job.

A Brief and Well detailed Review of Berhampore College in 2020

Placement Experience:

Actually there was no direct company placement from college but in the final year, many companies visited and conducts seminars for students. If any student wanted to join then they should contact them otherwise there is no direct process to the placement from college. As an example- Last year Indian Army personnel conducted and small speech seminar to join youths in the armed forces many students inspired from them prepared and joined Army to serve the nation.
