Entrance Preview
BE (IT) during my time we don't need to give any entrance examination. The 12th score and PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Maths) score used to be considered. This college is renowned and used to come at 2nd position for engineering course within Pune (1st position: COEP, Pune).
Course Curriculum Overview
Engineering in any specialization is 4 years course, 8 semister examinations. It is really a tough question for any one when it comes that to select the specialization in Engineering. I opted to Information technology (IT), as I could not get Computer engineering due to 1 mark. But as per my experience there is not much difference in the course studies for Computer or IT.
Internships Opportunities
We were not offered any stipend. But yes good learning for college internship project. We got a project with one company which we delivered nicely and got good opportunity during impetus competition.
Placement Experience
Placements are good. Almost 96% was the placement within my batch(2007 passout). I also got an offer from CGI during my 4th year by applying from my college.
College Events
Events are really celebrated very nicely but comparatively less with other colleges. Sports football, basket ball and cricket are played alwaysFestivals: Ganpati, Holi, Dashera and Diwali 1st year party.
Fees and Financial Aid
No scholarship for me. I tried for getting loan facility but my father/family managed by themselves for my college fees.
Alumni/Alumna
Even though I am part of alumni but could not attend college during any events due to office location. By yes I am updated from the blogs and social network.
Exam Structure
Sometimes its hectic and sometime its chilled out.We had 8 semister examination pattern and accordingly we have to work out. During examination its tense atmosphere but yes during PL (Preparation leave) its much enough time for study.
