Entrance Preview

MHT-CET-114. I could get a good engineering college near by locality from my hometown. Also I could weekly give visit to my hometown.Also the college is reputed college offering good placements.

Internships Opportunities

It was good.They also offered us stipend for our work which we did in internship.We learned lot of new things and was a good experience throughout the journey.

Our college offers us 100 placements and job guarantee, there are more than 40 company's which offer us jobs.There are different rounds as per company.

College Events

There are different college event technical and non technical. Robocon, INC, Credenz are the technical events.Also there is college annual gathering every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Annual fee of college is 77, 000. Which is much higher and so there are some students who can't afford to pay fees. Category students are given fee exemption.

Scholarship is offered by the government of Maharashtra to category students. Also there is scholarship for the first rank holders.

Everything is well balanced and there is large no of faculties offered by the college. There are different sport competitions held.There is fresher's party for newly admitted students.

It was good they helped me a lot.During my placements my alumni always gave me right choice for company's.And also during my project they helped me lot while finding different errors

Exam are conducted in every sem.The university follows semesterwise pattern.A periodic leave is provided before exam hence no hectic during exam.

My faculty at the college was also nice and there was a good relationship between us not only as teacher and student but like a family.They are the building blocks of our life and thank god for giving such a good faculty .

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
