Remarks

Shivanath Sastri College is the morning shift of Heramba Chandra College. The college starts from 6 and ends by 11, which is quite convenient for me. The Political Science department also very reputed and well known in Kolkata.

Course Curriculum Overview

The political science department is very good in Shivanath Sastri College. All the professors are very helpful and friendly. They always complete the syllabus before time and provides doubt clearing sessions from time to time.

Placement Experience

We do not have a Placement Cell o our college which is the only negative part of the college. However, according to reports, 90% of the fresh graduates go for higher studies. We are also given training to work in the corporate world.

College Events

We have many events in the college, some of which includes The Freshers Party, Exhibitions, Seminars, Annual Fest, Sports Days and Farewell Party. Teachers and Students take active part in all these events and these are conducted within the college campus.
