Remarks

Well, I got to know about this college from my friends and my coaching teachers and this attracted my attention and then I googled about it to know the admission criteria and all, but the thing that attracted me towards it was the campus area of about 164 acres with a beautiful lake inside, a fully equipped sports complex, well designed labs with new technologies, huge classrooms and the amazing OAT (open air theatre) for cultural activities. Talking about cultural activities, it conducts the biggest Cultural festivals of North India every year which have Internationally acclaimed artists like Sidhu Moosewala, Vinai, Prajakta Koli and so on and the placements of this college are one of the best in India, thus making it the renowned college of India, where highly acclaimed companies like Amazon, Facebook, Pepsi, L&T, Maruti visit and offer pretty lucrative placements offers and internships as well. The average package a student holds is around 10 LPA with the highest C.T.C of 1.02 Cr

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Talking about the course of DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY (DTU), it is very precise and accurate which helps the students to grasp knowledge and thus excel in their exams. The curriculum is set in such a way that it creates a balance between the student's studies as well as the extra informative things he wants to study, which thus results in creating no pressure on the minds of the students, and thus score well in their exams. The faculties are all fully qualified and experienced in their respective departments with sufficient experience and willing to help their students at each and every point which make a plus point for the University. This moreover helps students to gain textual as well as practical knowledge of their departments

College Events

5

The campus life is incomplete without the fun and the enthusiasm everyone has for the cultural events and the various activities held inside the college. India is a country of Festivals, so DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY(DTU) takes into account every festival and never holds back in making its students smile and enjoy a little, which includes organising Diwali Mela, Lohri nights, Dandiya night during Navratri. Apart from these occasions, the institution organizes Cultural Festivals Tech festivals and sports festivals in the months of Jan-Mar in which various institutions from different parts of the country participate to showcase their talents and win exciting prizes and recognition and have a great time. These festivals also host the platform for various Internationally acclaimed artists like VINAI, Sidhu moosewala, Divine, Prajakta Koli, Zakir khan to embrace their talents and this attracts a huge audience to the college nearly 1lakh

Campus Life

4.5

The campus area of DTU is ranging around 162 acres with well equipped sports complex which includes each and every sport, a beautiful lake, which sets a blissful environment around the evening, A huge auditorium to fit 1000 people within, an open air theatre (OAT), for all the extracurricular activities, three huge fully AC three canteens serving the tastiest food at affordable prices. The best part is all the necessary things required for a student ranging from Stationary, Photocopying, Book store, Bank, Post office, Atm, Health care centre, All of these are situated inside the campus which makes it easier for the students to indulge in, and talking about the library, it has highly updated 3 floors library which has books related to all the departments which one can issue to read and study without any haste and the labs are all fully equipped with latest technologies and appliances with accurate readings which help the students gain practical knowledge easily

Hostel Facilities

4

I have opted for a hostel facility and it was the best decision to make in terms of money as well as accommodations because, in a place like Delhi, it costs you a real piece to live in a PG or a Flat The hostel accommodations of DELHI TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY is very nice in which they provide a triple sharing room for first year students and later double to single sharing, the rooms are fully equipped with study tables, wardrobes for each one of the hostel mates, and properly working lights and fans, they provide a common washroom for one floor of the hostel, which maintains proper hygiene and water is available 24/7. But hostels are only given to the outside Delhi candidates, and the total number of boys hostel is 9 and some PG's are also in collaboration with DTU which accounts for the International students and the girl' hostels are around 5 with proper safety

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is relevant and comprehensive, with practical modules and industry-focused content that influenced my choice. It effectively bridges academic knowledge with real-world applications. However, adding more case studies and interdisciplinary approaches could enhance learning. Exams are well-timed but could better assess critical thinking. Teaching methods would benefit from integrating more interactive and hands-on sessions.
