Firstly it had the course I wanted to opt. Secondly the curriculum provided meets the area of my interests with the best faculty, also the wanted to pursue my grads from my state itself hence didn't look for colleges outside West Bengal.
Course Curriculum Overview
Yes, my course provides a lot of exposure in the field of Corporate, Media and Management. We a segment of full time internship in the last semester on any of the above mentioned field. Faculties are amazing, cannot pick any particular name.
Internships Opportunities
Haven't opted for any internship yet. But I work with several social media pages and event management/ marketing agencies as the Public Relations Officer.
Placement Experience
Placements and job opportunities are very rare since it is an undergraduate course. But as said, after completion of our internship in several Corporate Sector or Media Houses are are given joining letter accordingly.
College Events
Being a proactive student I have had an amazing journey when it came to events, extracurricular activities. I've been actively involved in all sort of college fest and have been doing it since the first year. Our college doesn't have any particular fests of their own but we hold a lot of seminars where other colleges are invited.
Fees and Financial Aid
No idea about the loan availability since haven't come across anyone who have applied for any or have taken. So can't really tell about that. Also the college fee is comparatively low than any other colleges across the country.
Campus Life
Campus infrastructure is okayish. We are having buildings under construction now. But nevertheless we have labs for all the science departments, a well maintained library and a full furnished computer lab to help the students with the basics.
Hostel Facilities
Our college doesn't have a direct hostel facility. But their is a tie-up with 'Women Christian Association' they provide the hostel facility to our college students and other college students as well. They have 2 branches. One in Esplanade which is the headquarter and the other is Park Street.
