Remarks
St Teresas is one of the prestigious institutions in Kerala which provides quality education and mainly focusses on transforming young ladies to confident women. The institution has got almost two thousand students studying in it with three main blocks, 21 departments and 300 faculty including non teaching staffs. The teachers are well trained and it is their hard work and dedication which took the institution to the top position In the all India level and in 2019 it has become a five star NAAC accredited college. Apart from teaching the college also hosts many national level programmes and cultural programmes inorder to strengthen the soft skills of each student. St teresas is the only college to have won the championship 6 consecutive times for the MG university youth festival.
Course Curriculum Overview
St teresas became an autonomous college in 2015.The teachers here are well educated and well trained. The non teaching staffs are well behaved and are ready to help anyone who approaches them. The syllabus has been revised 5 times and now it's more convenient for students to learn their portions without putting much stress.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are pretty good at at teresas. mainly for pg students. More than 50 companies come to hire students from all over India. Top companies like wipro, infosys, Calvin Klein and Tommy hilfiger etc come to hire students. Almost half of the students who sit for the interview gets hired.
College Events
In my opinion if you are looking for a college where you can study and want to have a freaking college life then st teresas should be in your prime list. You will have one or the other opportunity coming you way always in this institution.
Campus Life
St teresas college is located in the heart of kochi city. It has got 3 main blocks. arts block, science block and central block. It has also got 2 hostels one in the main block and the other in the science block. There are 23 departments altogether including the physical education dept. The arts block has got the platinum jubilee auditorium where all the cultural events takes place. It is one of the biggest college auditoriums in ernakulam. The science block has also got a gym plaza where the sports events take place.
