Remarks

I always wanted to get into the North campus of Delhi university because of it's renowned structure and crowd. I had mainly shortlisted 2-3 colleges in which I wanted to get into and thankfully I got into one of it. Kirori Mal college is reputed for it's political science department. Many politicians have graduated from this college which makes it so good.

Course Curriculum Overview

The political science department here is one of the best in Delhi as it combines practical knowledge with the knowledge we get from books. The sports faculty is also known to be very good. The college has won many sports events and has the best basketball and boxing team in Delhi.

Class Size: 412Course Fees: INR 13000 per year

Placement Experience

I have not received much information about how placements are done in my college but our entrepreneur cell consists of hardworking students who make an excellent team. Our college invites guests speakers regularly to speak about future career options.

College Events

The north campus of Delhi university is very well known for it's campus life. People from all parts of the country come here and therefore one can get to learn about various cultures here. A lot of events also take place in the college's here which attract people to come and participate in them.

Campus Life

The infrastructure is quite old and needs a bit of renovation but the area is quite large. The library is centrally air conditioned with comfortable seats which makes it an outstanding place to just sit down and be alone with books. The lawns are an excellent place to sit and relax during the winter and spring months.

Placement opportunities are made different institutions come to college for taking employments and else I don't know much about placement opportunities but yeah I seee mostly every week one or another company comes to hire some students from the college

Placement Experience:

Personally, i have good amount of experience in the industry so i might just not need vollege placements. But fir the senior batch i think only a fee got placed but rest of the students are doing things personally.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert,etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd year. Very prominent companies like Deloitte visits for campus placement. The post of data analysts, consultant etc are offered. The highest package offered till now is of 49lpa which was from Economics hons.

KIRORI MAL COLLEGE - INSIDE AND OUTSIDE LIFE

Admission in university of delhi colleges are done in the basis of COMMON UNIVERSITY ENTRANCE EXAM through which rankings and cutoffs are given . Students who meet the required cutoff are given admission in particular college keeping in mind his or her preferences . I too have applied for many north campus colleges and luckily I got admission in one of the prestigious college . Great experience and exposure to college life.

There are very few colleges providing course of B.A hons geography in north campus and Kiori mal college is one of the best colleges of Delhi university. My first preference was Miranda house but i couldn't get in that due to my CUET score. The admission process is giving CUET exam and cut off for cuet score in DU is very high. Some colleges even have 799/800 cutoffs with also keeping your 12th marks in mind. Admission process is pretty easy you have to give cuet and then apply for the admission and then wait for the merit lists to come out which will automatically show on your portals .
