Remarks

I have joined in the starting days of the college and I am curerntly not aware of the happenings of the college. Keeping these in mind I will mention the pros and cons.Pros:Nice infrastructure.Teachers are generally nice except a few.Favoring girls.Good outdoor environment.Cons:In a very remote location.Favoring girls.Under construction.Allowed only twice a month to go out of college.

Entrance Preview

NMAT. The university is already famous for its MBA program. I found out from a friend about its BTech program. It has just started. Mine was the 2nd year of the program.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

It was following the curriculum of Mumbai University. The books etc were same as used in Mumbai university. We were having guest lecture of various subjects and the faculties were most coming from DJ Sanghvi institute of Mumbai.

Internships Opportunities

We have arrange for internship on our own. Our college did not provide us with the companies. So, most of the guys went for small projects. The stipend is not good and only very few people got that based on their contacts and knowledge.

Placement Experience

3

Since ours was a fresh college and they have to make a name for themseves so the management did everything they could for the placements. The placement was very good. The mass recruiters were TCS, Infosys and Accenture. The package was 3lpa. Around 99.99% students who cleared their aptitude test got placed.

College Events

1

We had a cultural celebration on Diwali, Holi, Navratri and Baisakhi. We had farewell party, Then we had a Tech-fest and cultural fest. Our fest's budget was very good. Ishq Bector came in that. The DJ was very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It was around 2lpa. The campus was still under construction so it seemed a bit expensive considering the location. Had it been Mumbai it would be very much feasible.

Fees and Financial Aid

None. The college has not offered any such facility but I have taken a loan from the bank. There are various banks which provide education loans. We can go for that option.

Campus Life

3

In the hostel we used to have illegal birthday parties. Illegal because it was not allowed. In that we would put all the nasty stuff to the bday boy, beat him, cut the cake and then play speakers and dance.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities were OK. The construction was wonderful but there was a problem of insects coming in the room even from the net window so we had to shut our doors and windows in the summers. This led to a very humid and suffocating environment in the rooms. Also, we were not allowed to put coolers and ACs in our room. This further led to the extreme living conditions.

Alumni/Alumna

We get invitation to attend our fest periodically but only a handfull of guys attend the same. We are only connected through social media or if we are sharing the same room. The groups formed in the college are connected among themselves.

Exam Structure

We had a trimester system. There were 3 exams per year. In each trimester we have 2 sessional tests, marks on the basis of best of two would be considered.

Faculty

2

Ouir faculty were mostly from Shirpur itself. Most of them were undergoing MTech from the same institute. Pros: Providing us hands on notes and presentation, so we do not have to search in the books and cabn utilize this time elsewhereCons:Knowledge level not upto the mark of PhD. guys.

The campus placement is decent in the college as compare to other colleges of the city . many companies visited the college every year to hire the skillful engineers from the college and offer them a good amount of package. The option of the offcampus palcement is also there for the students of the other colleges.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Soo ever since kid i was interested in bikes this interest was all for me to take this course , my father is very bike enthusiast and it came down to me , i could easily take mechanical and other engineering cause these are common courses which involves automobile , but since i wanted to follow my passion , i wanted to do specialization in automobile itself and DPCOE was offering this course with great facilities and knowledge providing us a path in this lane of career in this field. According to me curriculum prepares us quite well as they conduct workshop which are relevant to outside world where we'll be working. If there were more practical workshops for us to work on would be great cause automobile engineering is all about practicals rather than theoroticals Professor should try teaching in physical part rather than taking lectures and explaining the concept by just words

Yes there is placement cell of STES which is no different than other tier 3 engineering colleges offering a tier 3 average package depending on who is the recruiter. Students become eligible for campus from 3rd year of their degree. Highest package is something around 55 lakhs offered to a computer engineering student, and average is just like I said for a tier 3 college 5-6 lakhs(above or below). Almost everyone gets placed in the company but some might not.
