Remarks

Symbiosis is among India's reputed colleges. Given the chance to study at this college was an opportunity for me to get better positioned for real world life. I wanted to pursue an economics career and my college offered the BSc Hons program in Economics that I was seeking. In addition, the college has partnered with some of the world's best colleges and it offers the opportunities for semester exchange and summer school programs in the UK and Germany. The post-college prospects were a major factor because my college had a huge network of alumni who would help me to secure great internships and jobs.

Course Curriculum Overview

Yes we are told about the status beforehand. Yes we were given enough industrial exposure. The faculty is good and is very supportive. My favourite faculty teacher was Nehul sir. He was the best support.

Placement Experience

I haven’t dealt with any placement as of now so I am not sure. But the seniors say that it is not that great. And the rate of getting acceptance is also very low. Alumni network is good for job referrals.

College Events

My college holds annual cultural and social fest every year named Equilibria. They are quite big and students from different college always take part. It has many events in it, including academic, cultural and social.

Strong academic legacy with expereinced faculties and balanced content- preparing you for future studies and entrance exams and olympiads. very much strict, i would say not needed. somehwere you may experience baised behaviour; but when you are focused on gaining knowledge then these things dont matter as its only a matter of three years. Relevance of course is there but for applying for further studies not for that much for job prospects, if you want atleast a decent salary job.

Placement Experience:

I have rarely seen companies coming to our college for placement purposes for our course but I have seen companies coming for BCOM and BCA. I don't know about my course as I am currently in my second year. The percentage of students getting placements are veryess as my friend from third year said that out of 150 students only 10 students got placed this year which is very less compared to other colleges. My plans after getting the degree is if I got a job in any of the it company I will do it for experience and side by side I am planning to pursue my education in MSC CS

I chose SSE over JGU without a doubt and have no regrets about the same. The course in JGU was new and interesting. I quite liked it but personally economics and "Symbiosis" appealed more to me.
