Entrance Preview

Exam appeared is ENAT for entry to my college. Score achieved was 146 out of 250 marks. Opted for Mechanical Enginneering due to good scope for jobs at the time during which the entrance exam was given.

Course Curriculum Overview

8 semesters, 6 theoretical subjects in each semester, 3 labs in each semester. Optional electives opted were IC Engines in sixth sem and Organizational Behavior in seventh sem.

Internships Opportunities

I didn't undergo any intership during my term in college. Instead I opted for Industrial training within my college from my college, which was during last semester of my term.

Placement Experience

Placements were good for our college. But as it was recession during our time, Mechanical and Civil students could't make it 100%, but IT sector placement was 100% from our college.

College Events

Various technical fests are held at our college, majorly two. One of them is a technical fest held during fall and the other is a cultural fest, held during early spring.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship are given to students who secure a rank within 1000 in the entrance exam. Where their tution fees only is cut off, provided that he is within top 10% in his branch.

Campus Life

All were excellent in our college. One has to indulge himself/herself in co curricular activities to stay healthy, make friends as well as develop our overall outlook as well.

my view on internship oppurtunities

Placement Experience:

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

Placement Experience:

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
