Entrance Preview

I prepared for MU-OET for lateral and scored 13th rank. This college has a very good reputation and also best facilities for studies with lab and accept new ideas for improvement for students. They support us for new ideas and projects. So I choose this college for my brighter future.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course was very educational with very good opportunities for learning new concepts. There were wide types of electives which helped for studies. For example IC Engine and Air pollution Control System, Industrial Process Control, Operations Research and Refrigeration and Air Condition Etc.

Internships Opportunities

The Internship experience is one of the most helpful for our future. So I did my internship in Schneider Electric for one month and there was no stipend offered but it was very good educational experience.

College Events

In odd semester there is a fest called TECH-TATVA and in even semester fest called REVELS. Tech Tatva is a technical event which we so our technical innovative ideas and Revels is a Cultural event with drama,dance,music Etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are very good scholarships for brighter students and also loan facilities for financially unstable families. This is a very good advantage for students and also for parents.

Campus Life

According to Quality standards it is a very good institution and it has a secure campus life. Extracurricular activities are conducted in secure campus. Labs and Robotics are well maintained and working in good conditions.

Alumni/Alumna

According to me the alumni network is very good and also seniors were very helpful to juniors with respect to their studies and other purpose. When ever there was a problem with studies and official work they used to help and they were giving advice to juniors.

Exam Structure

Exam structure is good as per other colleges and grading system is on CGPA system. Exams and labs are done with systematic way without any delays.

Faculty

Our faculty is one of the best. They help students with their studies and clear all the doubts with respect to subjects. They support us when ever we present new ideas and help with its research and application.

my view on internship oppurtunities

Placement Experience:

the placement rate says 100% but you have to be maintaining 7.25 cgpa in order to sit for the placements and they are classified into 1) mass recruiters 2) dream companies3) superdream companies for which you will need 9 and above cgpa. i personally am dependent on placement or i also am appearing for the GATE entrance exam in my 3rd year as well as my 4th year and will see where life leads me but honestly i just want to start working and gaibn indstry experience and make money and develop skills faster

Placement Experience:

They fake a lot of their placements....now the bangalore campus currently has 40%placements but they fake the placement rates to make it look like its 80 or 90% which is sad...i heard that if u have really bad marks and couldnt get placed(a lot of ece and eee people, cause they will purposefully try to fail u so that u can apply for the couse again) they will make u sign a document were u agree u never sat for placements.

MIT Manipal owns engineering!

Admission here are very consistent and just two methods. No other method works here as MIT Manipal has very clear plans. Either you can qualify through Manipal Entrance Test or JEE scores but 90 percentile is required. MIT Manipal is awesome!

For B.Tech courses, Manipal Entrance Test is conducted by the college and students on the score and ranking are alloted branch. CSE and AI are taken by top rankers and then mid rankers can take our branch. However, first choice is always with the students. MIT Manipal is super tech savvy!

In MAHE or MIT Manipal the university only accepts their own entrance scored as JEE qualifications and all have very limited seats.
