Remarks

I have got a scholarship and I just have to pay 8000 rs a year. Departments were absolutely different for every branch. Things are provided as per the student's requirements. Teachers really take care of their student's needs and personal attention given to each and every student. Many new ideas are placed and promoted by our Head Of Department.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty manages every lecture in the given time. They help students as per the student's needs and demands. All faculty are really helpful. They support and promote student's new ideas.

Placement Experience

College sends us for interviews in different districts. Many big companies have been there for the placement of our college. Big companies like TCS Wipro Infosys etc

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees structures are different for general category and ST NT category. Generally, the fees start from 40000 for OBC students. All tfws students get the scholarship of all the fees and the students should pay only 8000 per year

Campus Life

The campus is full of fun greenery the environment is so pleasant and all campus is covered by Wi-Fi so that students can do their work anywhere. The campus has some sitting arrangements around the lawns. A team of faculty members from each department is taking care of the students sitting outside the class on the campus.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs. The college has a large area of 21 acres and is filled with greens and trees and has a great atmosphere on the whole campus.
