Remarks

Our college admission process is simple and it follows guidelines of Maharashtra Cet cell. Cut off for computer branch come around 75 to 80. Reservation applied for the respective category, teaching faculty is great but it needs to be little improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is not good as expectation but the faculty is good. Choosing the computer field is all about Money and fame. Our college has more girls than boys. Teaching method is excellent and every faculty member is holding a PhD with respect to the subject. There is a sensational exam after Every month for a particular sem and at end of there is a University exam which seems too hard

Internships Opportunities

Our college has made collaboration with NPTEL which is one of the greatest internships platforms in India. Our college required at least 2 internships at the end of the 4th year. Giving us a project on social issues which is a great thing for us

Placement Experience

Our college provides a good placement for the computer branch. You have to clear your all subjects then and then you are eligible for placement. Our college provides about 3.5 to 4.5 lakhs per anum. Near about 80 percent of students get an offer and 60 to 65 accept the offer letter. Having a good job with at least 10 lakhs per anum will be great for me and for my family.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is simple you need to pay 42000 Rs every sem for the OBC category if you got a seat through the cap round. For other categories, fees may vary but for open, there is a 77000Rs fee. The cost to study is not as much compared with others. You get a concession for fees and guidance required for finance.

Campus Life

The college portal is built by students and is running to date. There is Hackathon conducted by our college every sem. Books are available in Library which is free to access. There is a sports week every year conducted by students with the permission of the college. The college infrastructure is the great and best thing about our college.

Hostel Facilities

Our college provides a hostel for students with very low rent. Every room contains 3 students. Meal quality is average and the menu is different every day. You need to pay your full payment on the day you come to the hostel and for every month you need to pay for your meal. Registration is simply affordable as well. There are lots of rooms in the City to rent.

Hostel Fee: INR 18000 per year

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. The college has a large area of 21 acres and is filled with greens and trees and has a great atmosphere on the whole campus.
