My College Review

I got admitted here according to my CET Rank which was 2216. Also, it is ranked 5 among top 5 BA(JMC) colleges under GGSIP University, Delhi and it is situated at a very happening location that is Madhuban Chowk, Rohini.

The only reason why I chose this course is that I wanted to improve my speaking as well as my communicative skills so that I can work well in the media industry. There are two working shifts. Morning shift and evening shift. Each shift has sone 120 around students which are divided with two divisions and the class ratio is 60 students per classroom. There are 6 semesters in BA(JMC) course. The first five semesters have 8 subjects (including 4 theoretical and 4 practical subjects) and the final semester have only 3 theoretical subjects and a final project and viva.

From the 6th semester, students become eligible for placements. There are no placements. They just provide internships in the name of placements. My plans after getting a degree are to enrol for a post-graduation course in a better college.

The first year fee will be 80,100 INR and the second and third year fees are 74,100 INR. There are no scholarships or financial help. Even in the name of placement, the college will provide you internships instead of jobs.

Varchasva: The Academic Media Fest held by BA(JMC) faculty and students which is conducted in the month of October every year. Saras: A management fest held by BBA faculty every year in the month between March and April. Endeavor: Management fest conducted in the month of April. Tecnia Sports Meet conducted in the month of January. The cultural societies run by the students are Inayat Fashion society of TIAS. Mridang Theatre Society. Atulya Music Society. Vyakht Literature Society. Tecnia Photography Club.
