Remarks

The campus placements are very good for Mechanical and other branches. The staff of the institute are really good. They are so hardworking and helpful for students. College have every year university rank holders.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty-student ratio is 1 as to 18 that is 1 faculty per teacher. Qualifications of faculties are PhD and masters in respective departments.

Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Placement Experience

From 7th sem, we are eligible for Placements. I made two offer letters during Placements. Up to 60%of Mechanical guys are placed and the ratio is more at IT Comp.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee are consistent for the whole course. All government scholarships are available at the college. I got 2 placements via College.

Campus Life

Gandharva is the biggest annual fest at the campus. The library is very good at facilities like Air conditioning and lights. Separate study rooms are there.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
