Remarks

We are in safe hands at Rajarshi Shahu College. There is a special guardian faculty team who takes care of every student in the college. Besides, the teaching-learning process is 2 way. One can find it easy to reach out to anyone from assistant professors to the Principal. Also, the placements opportunity at RSCOE is quite good. Moreover, college and staff add lots of efforts on training during placements. Overall this campus gives the sense of belongingness.

Course Curriculum Overview

Being an autonomous institute, the curriculum is designed by the college taking into consideration, industrial requirements. Fortunately, all the upcoming batches will be able to take benefits of the autonomous institute.

Placement Experience

Placements are quite good. And one does not need to worry about those either. Just focus on learning and opportunity will be given to you.

The overall cost for Engineering goes up to 5L for 4 years. But one can avail scholarships like EBC, etc.

College days are the best part of our lives. In RSCOE, along with the studies you get a chance to participate in various competitions. Not only participate but also arrange competitions. We have a sports month followed by a technical event and a grand cultural event every year. Additionally, there are various clubs for the inter-personal development of a student.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
