Remarks

The faculty members are friendly and supportive. The infrastructure facilities are pretty appreciable. The college has good transportation facilities. The reason to prefer this college was it provided with finest placements and the college focuses on the overall development of a student.

I was keenly interested in robotics and automation so I selected this course. All the teachers are highly qualified. Our teachers have always appreciated and supported new ideas.

Internships Opportunities

Zensar gives an internship for selected students of CS, IT & ENTC students. It is basically an employment skill development module wherein the trainers come to college and provide us with the training.

Students are eligible from the fourth year. The major companies that visit our campus include TCS, Capgemini, Zensar, Xoriant and many more.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the open category, the fees are 1,12,190/-. They allow you to pay in instalments. They also allow various scholarships.

Campus Life

There is a technical fest named INNOVISION with a different theme every year. It consists of various technical and non-technical competitions. The sports events are all mostly conducted in the month of January before innovision. Annual Day comprises of various skits and dance performances.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
