College Review from a student View

The college has great facilities & platform for students like us by providing not only education but also a chance to explore ourself, provide various platforms to showcase our inner talent. Due to students from different backgrounds coming together under one roof has increased our aspects & unite together working with similar kind of passion. Some faculties are very supportive & motivate at every step so that we do not drift away from the right track. Talking about the admission process, it is not very difficult & followed the central admission process. The reason for preferring this college is because of my senior friend's review & his opinion helped me select the college in better way.

Information Technology is the most Trendful & the present & future of our world. Due to a keen enthusiasm to explore this stream, I chose this branch of Engineering. The faculty of this not only the department but also the complete college are motivator, mentors & are completely available anytime through phone call or email, even during this lockdown period. They follow a systematic, topic wise approach for teaching. Exams for our batch are conducted as per University pattern, but also conduct internal exams, which are exactly similar to that of university exam, to provide practice for it.

Internship through a digital platform, startups are provided. The college also has an internship facility with KMIT Thailand & Malaysia. Students from final & pre-final year usually participate in this activity.

The college has a placement cell called Student Progression & Industry Relations. This cell is managed by Dean of SP&IR, TPOs & Student Training & Placement Executives. The cell helps students to be professionally ready & technically sound through various trainings. Direct connecting with industry personals for guidance is also a part of the cell. Every student, based on their calibre are evaluated & trained. Accordingly, students are presented for Placement drives. The college has created a new Virtual Placement Cell, for moving with the current situation. Various MNCs, product & service-oriented companies come every year. Some Japanese companies have also collaborated with the college will be placing students in Japan.

The fees are quite high, but students from the various category can avail various fee waivers. The Open Category fees are 1,12,190 per year. The lowest fees for a category is 200 per year. Different scholarships are also provided.

Innovision, Impact, Gandharva, NSS Camp are the various events held at college annually. Other than that, the college has also received the title of TEDx JSPMRSCOE. Various social clubs are run & managed by students & faculty in collaboration. The two leading association in college are RangBhumi & Hip Hoppers. The main aim of above all is the overall enhancement & welfare of students. To explore new heights through various National & international level competitions, hackathons are held.
