Remarks

At first, it was recommended by a reputed college professor to me who lives in our colony then I searched on Google for further information about the college I read the reviews given by students on Google Maps which emphasised on the good environment in college for students to study and strict rules which helps in maintaining the discipline and meeting the friendly professors in college while in the admissions process is also a major reason of joining this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty members are quite friendly and always help new students to blend in the college environment. They are very eager to help and solve the doubts of students and the course curriculum is also good.

Class Size: 72Course Fees: INR 112190 per year

Internships Opportunities

For students willing to enhance their knowledge in practical field internship opportunities are provided to everyone from FE to BE.

Placement Experience

The placement process of Students starts in their final year around the month of June/July. Companies such as zensar, Capgemini, xorient, etc visit our college for recruitment. About 80% of students get offers in the placement process. while internship opportunities are available for all students from the first year to last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is quite reasonable and it varies for 1,09,000 to 1,12,000 approx, in general, there are various scholarships available for students provided by DBT. Jobs such as assistance in maintaining the reading hall, students section, college gym etc are also available for students on campus with a stipend.

Campus Life

Various students group are flourishing on the campus because of the supportive nature of all faculty members and management bodies.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel has quite good security measures for the safety of students. The registration process is quite simple for a hostel in college. The accommodation provided is shared by 3 students. Each student gets their own table, a cupboard and a bed.

Hostel Fee: INR 380190 per year

Interview Experience

For admission there is a COMMON ENTRANCE TEST, as well as students can get admission through JEE also.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
