Remarks

This college is accredited by NAAC and NBA. Our college is the flagship institute of JSPM and TSSM. Good infrastructure. Good canteen food. The admission process is very easy.

I choose this course because I was interested in it. Faculty is highly qualified and the crowd is also good. We have digital boards which make the teaching easy and more interesting.

From the 7th sem people are eligible for campus placements. Many top companies like TCS, Infosys, Xoriant, Capgemini visit our college for campus hiring.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are a bit high for open caste students. But taking the other factors in consideration like teaching quality, infrastructure, advanced machines it is appropriate.

We have many events which are conducted once in a year but last for almost one month. Sports annual is also conducted in which students participate enthusiastically.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Placement Experience:

Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills.
