Remarks

I choose this college because of good academics, got this college through AICTE PMSSS, overall the college is good but the college life isn't that good for students, the admission process was smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

Faculty isn't the best thing about this college, the teachers are qualified but not knowledgeable, English speaking skills of teachers are very poor.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 112000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements are limited for courses like civil engineering, not many companies visit the college and any training isn't provided for the same till now.

The fees structure is good, scholarships are also provided.

Campus life is zero, it is more like a school than a college, yet sports and extracurricular activities are average.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel is average, facilities provided aren't that good as compared to the fees, limited mess and canteen services are provided, food isn't good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
