Remarks

This is one of the topmost engineering colleges in Pune. The reputation of college is good. Teaching is so good than other colleges. All things are very good in college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I like to learn about this course. The faculty is good but the thing is a number of a faculty member are less and getting change every time. Teaching is good. The exams are timely held.

Class Size: 140Course Fees: INR 61281 per year

Internships Opportunities

A lot of internship offered in this COVID pandemic. No stipend is provided for this. Seminars and projects are held for a better understanding of each field.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placement for civil background not many companies are recruited on the campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are more for open and obc students. The scholarship is given by government I.e Mahadbt scholarship.

Campus Life

The campus is good just have to improve the quality of the laboratory. Availability of books is more and good. Extra curriculum activities are held.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules.
