Remarks

The first-year department has the best quality staff with hai excellent knowledge. It is completely strict for the first year. VC lecture i.e. video conferencing of a particular subject are taken frequently. Availability of model software is provided for only notes and assessments.

Course Curriculum Overview

The faculty available are good and they are well-qualified, with everyone holding an M.Tech or M.E. degree and some with a PhD. Everyone is very cooperative and helpful and they are always ready to help even after college hours. They use conventional teaching methods and videos and PowerPoint presentation are used to back up the theory taught.

Although my college have average placements. But they provide training of software's and soft skill knowledge training of GD and Apti. Many competition is conducted for upgrading skills. Practical knowledge is provided and many internship are given.

Campus life is always awesome for every student in engineering it makes us very strong from inside. First-year AC is provided to every class. High tech projectors are used for teaching which makes it easy learning.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
