Remarks

The college campus is very good and provides a great unique experience of learning. The infrastructure is quite awesome. The admission process is very simple and the teachers and faculty members are very supportive.

Course Curriculum Overview

I had a great interest in this field of civil engineering. The faculty is very supportive and creative. The teachers are well qualified and have a complete package of knowledge and skills.

Internships Opportunities

Our college offers various internship programs for all branches as well as off-campus internship programs with a stipend.

Placement Experience

After 3rd-year students are eligible for campus placement and a great variety of companies visit the college. A very number of top companies also visit our college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very good. The fees are up to the cost of the study. I am from J&K and I got a scholarship under PMSSS. Our college provides us with a great opportunity for campus jobs.

Campus Life

Our college organizes many cultural as well as an annual fest. One of them is Gandharva which arrives in the month of January every year. Our college also has a library and a variety of books for studying fully free.

Hostel Facilities

Our college also provides hostel facilities for students and the Room are quite good and all facilities are provided in the hostel.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
