Remarks

The JSPM'S Rajashri Shahu College of engineering is one of the best autonomous College and affiliated by the Savitribai Phule Pune University and the RSCOE is also accredited by NAAC with "A" grade (CGPA 3.26) The our institute received "Best professional award(urban category)" by SPPU, Pune Govt of India, MHRD- NIRF has ranked RSCOE in the band of top 201 to 250 colleges of india, in the year 2020. Every essential facilities are provided by college including huge library, reading hall.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose the course because it gives a lot of opportunities in private as well as public sector and also you make your own business. The college campus is very good.

Course Fees: INR 12574 per year

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it offers the internship opportunities to students in the third year of engineering and it is compulsory for each and every student. The college is the tie-up with student chapters like ASCE, IGS etc so they give internship to students.

Placement Experience

The placement count with respect to other elite colleges is much better. They are so many companies gives internship to students in the third year of engineering. The highest package gain by the Civil department student is 12 lakhs. The companies that visited college are BENTLEY, TATA etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

I got the admission to this college from TFWS. So I have to pay only 12574. I don't have eligible any other scholarship.

Campus Life

Every essential facility is provided by College such as the huge library, reading hall. We also have digital classroom High tech tabs with proper instruments. Classroom with E-learning. We also a lot of sports equipment and college have their own gym.

Hostel Facilities

Our college hostel is good and well maintained. There is a canteen next to the hostel. So students no need to go anywhere. Food quality is also good and every weekend all the rooms in the hostel are cleaned.

Hostel Fee: INR 37000 per year

Interview Experience

I got the admission to this college by CAP ROUND II and this depends upon marks you have got in JEE & MH-CET.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
