Remarks

As this college is autonomous from this year so I decided to take admission here. And the results are good. I took admission last year in Aug 2019. The process is good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I'm interested in electrical equipment and love electronic gadgets interested in doing some big projects. Faculty is one of the best. They have a great experience, teaching is in a proper manner. They help in any situation. The teaching method is the best. Exams were taken on time it was not so difficult to pass because concepts were clear during teaching.

Course Fees: INR 112190 per year

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement from the 3rd-year 2nd semester. There are a lot of companies who visit our college every year i.e Infosys, TATA, Bajaj auto, Volkswagen, TACO, ISPAT and many more. Offers offered to students depends on his performance through his academics. Packages is very good if he gets that companies offer. There are 99% of students gets placed every year. After getting a degree I may go abroad for further studies. If I get placed in a good company I may do the job and then study further.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fess is there in 2 instalments. Students who have filled the form get the scholarships.

Campus Life

Life and environment of the campus are one of the best I have seen. There are many fests conducted in college like this year it was innovision in which many programs were held. Books and notes of each subject are available in college library other books for reading are also available. Journals are provided in the form of books and files which are given by College itself. The classroom is very good, benches are provided with fan and lights which feels to learn during lectures. There are also sports games held every year, maximum participation is there in sports every year. There are clubs which are run by students i.e coding club then rotary club etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
