Remarks

Had heard good about it from my friends. Good experience overall. Good faculty as well. I had a good opportunity in sports.

Course Curriculum Overview

I selected the course because of my interest in the subjects. I had an experienced, qualified and very friendly faculties.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements were kind of less for civil. But still, we have quite a few opportunities from the college. I myself secured a job from campus placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were a bit on the higher side compared to other colleges. But learning from the faculties there was a nice experience.

Campus Life

We had many clubs and associations across branches. I was part of CESA from my second year and grew in ranks from a volunteer in the second year to a convener in third and general secretary in my final year.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
