Remarks

I heard the name of this college by students. As well as it is known for its discipline and excellent quality of education and their Facilities etc. Now it is the best college in PUNE i.e under in top 10 best colleges in PUNE.

Course Curriculum Overview

I am interested in Electrical Engineering so I choose this one and Facilities are very helpful and cooperative if anyone having any doubt and difficulties they are always ready also we can share our personal issues with them.

Internships Opportunities

University exchange program will be arranged. Many students will go to foreign universities for their internship and in the state as well.

Placement Experience

Good campus placements. TCS is higher us and many other companies are there. 90 percent student get placed last year.

Fees and Financial Aid

If anyone having a financial problem they provide the student instalment facilities also. Also, the scholarship is there and good placement will be provided by the college.

Campus Life

A lot of activities will be there under the college campus. Also annual fest will be there. Overall healthy Environment is here.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel room size is quite large But the wall of the room is not as much good. I mean painting is REQUIRED..it is true that the cleanliness in a hostel is extremely GOOD. And the college canteen meal is again also quite good. It is strictly necessary to improve the quality of the college canteen meal. Hostel security is impressive No ragging is held there.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus.
