JSPM's RSCOE is an autonomous college and has excellent academic & placement records. This college gives a learning environment for students to get industry prepared.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course due to my personal interest in electrical. RSCOE has a very good and experienced faculty having vast knowledge in the subject. My learning experience was very good with the faculties since I took admission in this college. Each year is divided into two semesters of which in each semester one midterm exam and end semester exam takes place.

Course Fees: INR 112190 per year

College gives an excellent opportunity for internships and gives learning opportunities for each and every student if RSCOE.

Placements records are excellent. Highest placement 18 LPA and 4.5 LPA is average. Recruiters:- IBM, Infosys, LnT, Bosch, Capgemini, TCS & many more to offer a job with very good placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure General:-112190, OBC:-61,963, ST:-11,736, SC:-190. The scholarship is available and is given to students for different categories on the basis of certain parameters.

Campus Life

RSCOE has an excellent fest each year named Innovision and under these many other events takes place in which every student gets the opportunity to showcase his/her talent. There is poetry competition, sports competition, Car racing competition and other coding competitions and also other many events related to different fields. The classroom is well equipped with cross ventilation facility and also there are many college clubs like rotary Club. Libraries are very good.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. Practical v/s theoretical balance: Labs, workshops and real world projects are a core part of the structure, especially in engineering, design, and science programs.
